This secret to fresh breath is one of my favorites. After eating garlic, or onions - just pop two of these tiny capsules. The outer layer is mint which you can suck on for an instant minty boost. My favorite source of Vitamin C that is easy to absorb is Nature's Plus Vitamin C Micro-Crystals. A super fine powder, this is a great way to get the amount of Vitamin C you really need each day. I mix a teaspoon of this, juice from half a lemon, water and about 1/4-1/2 tsp of pure stevia powder for a great morning starter.
Also top of my list is Spry gum - this gum is aspartame free and sugar free which is hard to come by for chewing gum. I have tried several no aspartame chewing gum brands and this particular one is my favorite. The flavor is great - it does not last as long as its aspartame gum counterparts but it is good for you, does not have the horrible chemical aspartame and is free of sugar. The gum is sweetened with Xylitol, a natural sweetener that is actually good for your teeth. Lose 10 Pounds in 5 Days -- Best Way to Do It Naturally & Safely

We recently received an email from a desperate reader who needs to lose some weight very quickly. Here's what she wrote:
"I need to lose 10 pounds in 5 days! I have to go to a pool party this Saturday and I don't want to be the only woman with a belly fat roll! Is it possible to do this? Can I just stop eating or is there a good diet to lose that much weight fast? Should I workout and how do I do it? What's the best way to get rid of these pounds in just five days??"

And here's our response:

Yes, it is possible to lose 10 pounds in just 5 days. But it's not easy and it's not recommended. First of all, much of the weight will be from lost "water weight", not body fat loss. Also, there are always health risks when trying to lose that much weight that fast. But it's pretty obvious that you're desperate to shed pounds so here's a simple plan you could follow. It'll get you closer to your goal than just about anything:

1. Cover the Basics -- Get at least 7 hours of sleep per night and drink a gallon of water per day. This will maximize your metabolism and energy levels so that your body is ready to shed extra weight.

2. Eat a VERY Clean Diet -- The best diet for losing pounds fast is one that's based around lean meats/proteins, non-starchy "good" carbs (mainly vegetables, beans, legumes, and raw fruit), and small amounts of healthy fats (e.g. extra-virgin olive oil, nuts, seeds, natural peanut butter, avocado, and unrefined coconut oil). Avoid ALL sugars, starches (even whole grains), and bad fats (especially fried foods and trans-fats!).

3. Eat 5 Times a Day -- Eat a small protein-based meal or snack about every 2-3 hours to boost your metabolism, stabilize your energy levels, and help you avoid hunger and food cravings.

4. Do Interval-Based Workouts -- Do a higher-intensity interval-based workout 3 or 4 days out of the five. Combine bodyweight strength training (e.g. push-ups, squats, lunges, push-ups, inverted rows, hanging leg raises, etc.) with short HIIT sessions. Keep the workouts brief (40 minutes maximum) and focus on quality/intensity of the exercise over quantity/length.

5. Take Whey and a Multivitamin -- Every day drink at least one large whey protein shake and also take a good multivitamin to support lean muscle preservation, a fast metabolism, and to help protect your overall health during this intense weight loss routine.

So there you have it: the best and probably the safest "natural" way to lose 10 pounds in 5 days (and several inches from your belly as well!). As stated above, that's quite a lot of weight to lose in so short of a time but if you're going to try you may as well use the simple and proven method outlined above. The book offers Tracy's own story and struggle with weight, breaks down all of the reasons that the method works, and then presents the cardio, the muscular structure work and the diet that will change your body in 30 days. The book has photos of each of the muscular structure exercises broken down into three different sections of the 30 day plan. For days 1-10, there are seven moves, day 11-20 and then a third set of muscular structure training moves for the last ten days of the 30 day boot camp. The best thing is that the Tracy Anderson 30-Day Method book comes with a DVD that has two cardio workouts and the three toning training sequences which makes it so much easier to follow them.

You do have to pause it and do more reps than Tracy does in the video which is a little annoying as you are required to do 40 reps of each of the sequences. However, it is set up so it is easy to go back to the beginning of the portion for legs and then the stomach and arms exercises don't require going back for the second side.  I found the exercises challenging, in a good way. To do 40 reps each of the leg and butt exercises all on one side was tough and really burned. However, it does take some hard work to get the body you want and I find it encouraging when I feel some muscle pain the day after a good workout. The Tracy Anderson cardio sequences in the 30 day method are easy to follow so there isn't a learning curve or a need to learn the dances as you need to do with the Dance Cardio DVD. They key is to keep moving, bouncing and following along. You could obviously add arms and make it your own if it becomes too easy for you.

The Tracy Anderson 30 day diet is given with a whole collection of recipes that offer low carb and low fat foods that are delicious and work well with the whole plan. There is a chicken with mango and scallion recipe that you can find at Tracy Anderson Diet Recipe. It is important to stick to the diet but there are plenty of good options to satisfy your cravings whether they be for chocolate or dessert or more substantial foods. The Choco Chestnut Pudding is one sweet recipe on the diet and fruit compote and strawberries with mint are other sweet recipes to enjoy. Poached cod and Tracy Anderson Minestrone style soup are more cozy savory recipe options on the 30 day plan. The last days on the diet are more focused on fast slimming with more juices and low calorie options to show off those nice lean muscles that you've worked so hard for in the first few weeks of the Tracy Anderson 30 Day Method.

Most important is that you do it! The 30 day method is not easy but Tracy Anderson promises results if you stick with it and do the exercises and follow the diet as she instructs.
